turning B16a2 to GSR engine?
what i know pistons fits and it's necessary to drill a little (1mm both side?) rods for to fit its,,what i wnat not is that, so i was wondering if i need then gsr crank for to avoid to drill gsr rods.. ?

well, im looking for to stroke my b16a2 with gsr internals.. that's possible or not?.. with crank , rods and gsr pitons i would can to get it?..

no it wont work...
the block is shorter so you wont be able to use the GSR rods in a B16A with the B18C crank.
no you cant run B18C rods on B16A crank.
yes you need to shave a mm per side of either the piston or the rod to get them to go together (B18C piston and B16A rod)...
if you want to run a B18C crank in a B16A block you will need CUSTOM rods...or custom pistons with the pins raised up...

i think will keep my B16a2 stock (just will rebuild stock) and to boost, i was looking to stroke it with gsr internals to 1.8 because id like to make around 280-300hp... so i think with b16a2 it's very difficult just with stock internals..
