Popping out of gear is normally a bad thing and is internal to the transmission, my trans is the same way it always pops out of 2nd gear. The 2 problems are more than likly not related.

Damn....does it have oil in it?

A friend of mine(not the brightest)drained his tranny fluid and added 5 quarts of motor oil in his motor and drove 250 miles to Nevada. He called me up asking why his car wouldn't stay in gear and said it was smoking real bad.

I would use the Si tranny and lose that pile of ---- clutch. I hate those clutches. Sorry to bag on your clutch, but they really do suck, even the "dual friction" blah blah blah.

Bah! You don't have a tranny problem. Blowing your tranny up so bad that your car won't even roll while 100 miles from home is a tranny problem lol.
