tranny whining please help!!!!!!!
main input shaft bearing most likely, get it fixed. a lot of people say nothing bad will happen but i had one go on me after my tranny whined for a few hundred miles. RIP cable si tranny
the bearing went and all the chunks of it got ground up by other ---- and a lot of it got fucked up.
check your fluid too if you notice any noise while driving.

it's not the throw out bearing, if it was, it would be making the noise when he disengages (pedal down) the clutch, because the bearing would be loaded on the pressure plate forks. When the clutch is engaged, then throwout bearing shouldn't be contacting the pressure plate unless you're riding the clutch

They fail first when the fluid runs low.
I've never seen a Honda with a bad throwout bearing or pilot bearing.
Most people RUIN throwout bearings by spraying them out with something like carb cleaner.
