Tranny question
Is it safe to run synthetic in the tranny? or is it better to just stick with conventional

Re:Tranny question
I think the only reason why you would run synthetic in anything is because of heat.
My only question is, what makes you want to change from regular to synthetic? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :-\ |

Re:Tranny question
ok, and how many quarts does the ls tranny take? i was just going to fill it till a lil dripped out the check plug but i would rather not get dirty

Re:Tranny question
I think like 2.5 to 3 quarts. Your gonna end up just filling it till some comes out anyways.

Re:Tranny question
If it's a D, it'll be just under 2 quarts.
