Default Tranny question

Is it safe to run synthetic in the tranny? or is it better to just stick with conventional

I think the only reason why you would run synthetic in anything is because of heat.
My only question is, what makes you want to change from regular to synthetic? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

NO don't put synthetic in a tranny, seriously. just reg. 10w 30 if you're not going to use any kind of gear oil or mtf.

I think like 2.5 to 3 quarts. Your gonna end up just filling it till some comes out anyways.

If it's a D, it'll be just under 2 quarts.
