Default tranny problem!!!!!!

I just swaped a sohc zc into a 91 crx hf I am using the hf tranny and for about a day it was all going fine but then sounds like something is hitting around in the tranny. when you rev it it hits around faster and when you hold in the clutch it slowly stops hitting around. so i pulled it in to check it out and let it idle in neutral as i was looking around and all of a sudden it just shuts off. now the only way it will start and idle is if you hold in the clutch. whenever you put it in gear and let go of the clutch it just shuts off imediatly. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Actually it sounds like your right about the throw out bearing. I'd definately check it out if I were you before that thing welds itself to the clutch fork.

Ok check this out... I had a similar problem when i did my auto to 5 speed swap in my accord the other day... I was test turning the engine and tranny by the crabk bolt and it would get about 1 revolution around (using ratchet) and then it would jam and stop like you hit somthing very hard, and it wouldnt turn past it... This is what I tried (it helped alot), loosened up the bolts from the engine to tranny and then tightend them back up (it looked/felt good the first time, but i was out of options) and then kept going with the swap. After that itd turn over all the way and keep going but there was a kind of rough spot when id come back to where it kept locking up when i was test turning it. Anywho, when I started it up, it made an awful sound like somebody spray painting somthing but much louder (I was scared at this point) but then I clutched and it went away a little, and did it again and the sound got better and better, so i took it around the block, and it was gone by the time i returned. I would try messing with the tranny bolts if i were you. Also my tranny was sitting for 7 years before i installed it, that may or may not have anything to do with it.
