I have a friend with a euro spec crx the engine he explained is a zc dohc none vtec. cable tranny I saw the tranny, all the internal of the tranny torn up gears and all, but since we are in Germany and have no hybrid help here, he wants to no if it is possible to us the bell housing from the s20 tranny we have 3 hrdro tranny available, but his is a cable and he only want it for a get a get around car not racing, is there a way we can use the s20 on a cable system? what I want say is can the hydro be converted to cable with simple mods, without buying any expensive aftermarket parts?

 

Basically no. Your best off finding a cable trans.

 

there is a kit that hasport sells to do both. check them out but i am unsure what the cost is.
