TPS replacement

Default TPS replacement

Does anybody know if the TPS sensor can be replace or do I need to get the TB with TPS. (on a B18A)

Yes, just buy a used one. I don't think you can buy them new without buying the entire throttle body. You need to drill the rivets out and put screws in afterwards.

Thanks. So to take it out do i break the round things or do i need to drill from there down?

Just the round things I guess. A dremel would be perfect.

use the dremel. cut a slot on the round things then use a flat screwdriver do take them out. :P

Newbie , Haha jk doc. Hey what you can do and this is easier, get a cheap saw and saw in the middle of the rivet and turn it into a flat head screw basically. Just make sure u make a deep groove before u attempt to unscrew it or ull demolish the little walls the groove made. Lastly they do not sell them without the throttle body 100% sure. so either buy one from ebay or me, or just get another tb from someone... Like me

Your definately right about getting new screws, they are cheap as hell and easier to tighten, but for purposes of taking the riveted ones out.. I was suggesting use a saw and make a flat head groove
