if the d16a6 has a d16z6 head,then yes.

if it has the d16a6 stock head, then no, it will not fit

 

these are all the same
88-91 1.5 Honda Civic/CRX DX,LX,STD,HF (D15)
88-91 1.6 civ/CrX Si, EX (D16A6)

and these are all the same
96-99 1.6 Honda CIvic CX, DX, LX (D16Y7)
92-95 1.6 Honda Civic EX, Si, (D16Z6)
96-00 1.6 Honda Civic EX -VTEC (D16Y
96-99 1.6 Honda Civic HX -VTEC-E (D16Y5)


you use the parts for the head overall (timing belt, Head bolts.. etc) D16z6 head on a a6 block would use a z6 Belt. i however have found an exception

your in luck buddy, right before i fucked my sleeves on my motor i changed out my timing belt on my a6 (it has about 500 miles on it) its yours for 5 bux plus shipping from 95815

 

well you have all the answers you need and your motor is officially screwed so im lockin her up
