What you could be asking is "How high can I rev with XX springs and XX cam profile?"

It is spring pressure, cam profile, and rpms that a timing belt needs to withstand. HP/TQ have nothing to do with it.

it depend on what cam gear you have, the AEM gear obsorb the harmonic freq reonating from the valves so they dont get transferd to the block through the belt. Stock belt go for about 250ftlbs greddy goes for 327ft/lbs but if you havethe cam gear you can add about 15% ontop of thoes numbers. Also if u spray the cam gear with ruberized rock gaurd(obsorbs more harmonics) it goes up a little bit higher but some people might argue with that but its true!

And those damaging harmonics from the valves can't get to to the block, from, the head? :1

Timing belt strength has nothing to do with power output.

I figured that the hp had nothin to do with it but I figured torque did. ---- you walter I have seen you ask dumber ---- than this. I've got the sk2 springs and retainers with the delta turbo cams. I just firgured tq would be the enemie. cuz I'm fucked up stock belts just droppin 5th to 3rd on a stock motor.
