throwin me ecu codes
my sickly crx is givin me fits now the comp is tellin me code 15; which i looked it up and it is a IGNITION OUTPUT SIGNAL. what the hell is that. i dont have a local honda place to reffer to, and you guys have helped out alot in the past. does anyone know where i can get a plug wire diagram for a sohc vtec head. i don't have the haynes manual. it will take 2 days to order it. i think i may have the plug wires fouled up. and no one else has a stock civic to look at. thanks guys!!!!
yeah i did that too. i think i have them correct now, and she still wont fire up. i placed the crank on tdc and the cam lines up. the distributor is already moved to where it needs to be for the mini-me swap. it came off another crx that had the swap done already, due to engine failure "rod" i got the head cheap, had it worked over and now she does nothing. the ecu is still throwing code 15 ignition output signal. what does this mean?
what modle crx is this and what ecu ,dist. and intake manifold r u running...check to make shure u have spark, and check the single wire that plugs into the starter from the wiring harness make shure it is on there good
91 crx hf with a 90 crx si block, 93 civic ex head, 91 si intake, and tb. i checked for spark and it is getting no fire to the plugs. i pulled the dist. cap off and the coil looks just like the one off the si head i noticed the coil was exactly the same. on the v-tec dist. the coil inside the dist. was off set to one side. so i think i have a non-vtec dist. on the vtec head.
you need to match ecu/dizzy...
you had an 91HF, did you do the swap straight from the HF motor. Or did you already have a 90si motor in there and running?
What ecu are you running now?
it cranks over, but doesnt start? Does it sound like it tries to start??
