Default throttle body question

i currently have a d15b7 motor...is there any way of switching throttle bodies to allow more air to flow? I heard the b series' TB's work, is there any truth to that?

thanks,
chris

A better intake manifold will help a lot more, like the d16y8 one or the d16a6

Some B series TB's will work. Certain years will not fit, but I forget which ones. Sorry.

92 (obd1) B-series throttle bodies will fit, they are only a few mm larger than the D-series. GSR/LS/B16a Del sol etc. You can use the older obd0 B-series throttle bodys, but the map sensor will need to be relocated since obd1 cars use them ontop of the throttle bodys.

A6/z6/b7 intake manifolds are all about the same, You wouldnt see a significant gain when swapping, The only D-series intake that shows good gains is the y8 intake manifold.
