I replaced the power antenna in a 97 Teg (with one that I know works) but Its still not working. I'm getting 12 volts but no signal. It does have an aftermarket radio. The guy who installed it seems pretty competent. Maybe he didn't hook it up or something. Am I missing something? Thanx.

 

Sorry I didn't know which forum to post this in but I solved the problem. The guy who installed it didn't hook up the power antenna so it would stop trying to continuesly run.

He probably didn't hook up the antenna wire. If the antenna doesn't work, I never hook them up. I just leave the antenna extended and the radio works fine without the power motor to break.
