tears in bushings still good?

Default tears in bushings still good?

how bad are these bushings there on the rear parallel control arms
i might be able to replace the right one with my old one but not sure if the old left one is bent and in what shape they are in

oh ay and what about filling them with window urethane, like engine mounts ?
any one do that before would it work?

I also agree they look good (on my last two hondas, mine were in two pieces, and they were still fine ).


I think you should just replace them b/c I know that urethane usually takes about a week to dry (or in my case, for my motor mounts, over two weeks), and if you drive the car while it's drying, I don't think it would do more than cover up a bad bushing. That bushing takes a lot of stress, so even if it would dry, I see the chances of it holding together as a structural piece as very very slim.

And I don't think you could manage to remove a used set and use them...the removal and replacement process is a bitch (by the account of many people), and part of the process is generally, "destroy the bushing to remove it."

Stiff rear lower control arm bushings (AKA energy suspension poly) can cause some oversteer/handling problems for some people. The ones on your car look fine. If you were to replace them, I would only replace them with OEM bushings.

i replaced mine with ES ones.. and its not that bad to take them out you pussies!!!

map gas and scraper ftw!!
