Default TDC How to set timing right

This is a stupid question but I think is the problem I'm having right now. For more on the story click here

https://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/...threadid=20150

For those of you who don't want to read it, one day the dizzy fell of, one bolt not bolted all the way in, and the car has not started since. First it was my ground. I worked on that. Now the car cranks but won't start. I have fuel and spark fine, but the car won't fire.

I think my problem now is that I have to set the time on the car correctly. I'm sort of lost on this issue. Top Dead Center, how do I align everything? Do I have to look at some mark in the crank pulley or what? As you can see I'm totally lost on this one.

Refer to any honda manual (decent or crappy) to find the timing marks, then get you a timing light.. ones with the advance dial on the back are pimp (or say ---- it and go for the snap on timing light/timing computer deal, those things rock). Not that hard, been a while since I've done it on a honda, but I can tell you how to do it on a chevy/ford all day long.

if your distributor fell out, just put it back in. it will only go in one way and there is very little adjustment back or forth. set it in the middle and if it don't start you got another problem.

The dizzy can actually go in two ways, the right way and 180 degrees in the opposite direction, try rotating it 180 degrees and seeing.

Just like on a sbc, man the first build I did took a damn long time to get that one right.
