I was searching the internet for a new TD04 and i couldn't find any new TD04....I've read that Mitsubishi makes them....I found the TD05H and the TD06, but no TD04... However I did see something about a Standard 16G-7CM and a Big 16G-7CM... is the 16G the same as a TD04 or two different turbos?

td04 is just the housing. its from the 1g auto dsms. the 14b has a td05 housing. the td05 housing can be found on 16gs, and some other larger mitsubishi turbos. td04 is often confused with a to4(garrett style) which is a lot bigger than the td04.

 

From what i've just found, the 14b is a model of the TD05H turbo...the TD04HL/13G was put on First Generation DSM auto-trannied cars. So i guess the question now is,is the TD04 the same Turbo as the TD04HL/13G?
