T3 Turbo into a 99 Accord EX? What else do i need?
I found a T3 Turbo from a 98 Honda Accord EX on ebay. You can check it out here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1873407852
Can i just put it into my stock engine and just drive with it like that without ruining the engine?
I heard something about changing the ratios and compressions, do i have to do that? if so how?
Thanks a lot for the help

ok, anothe none searcher.
just look through some old "will theis turbo work" and "what do i need to do" posts. i dont'know what your compression is, so i can't tell you if you need to change it. you'll also need (more than likely) an intercooler, injectors, fuel management, etc. it won't be a "drop in" setup.

that turbo is a POS..
no you cannot just bolt it on, custom fabrication is required. depending on which engine you have, you really wouldnt need to do much, Honda engines stock can normally take a fair amount of boost. But proper fuel/igniton management is recommened.

That turbo is off a Chrysler K car! Im not kidding, that thing is going to be next to imposible to convert to a Honda. The Chrysler turbos are backwards from all the other Garrett turbos and have a realy large odd shaped down pipe adapter. Dont do it dude, get a regular Garrett turbo to start with, you wont be happy with this one.

Thanks for the advice man. How about this turbo, its a T3/T4 F Max http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=2914716885
Again, would i need to change any compression ratios or anything?

Nice setup, a bit pricey, but nice. You could do as good, for less mony doing it yourself. And no you dont need to change compression ratio for a turbo set up, unless you want to run realy high boost, like 20 or 30 PSI.
