can you switch a (b16a) cable tranny to a hydrolic?

the reason why im asking is because i have heard that hydraulic trannys dont grind as much as cable trannys do and that there just better. is that true?

not sure, but if that's the only reason why you would be interested in doing the conversion, i wouldn't bother, just change your tranny fluid with honda mtf if your tranny is grinding, that should smooth it out. usually, you would only do this conversion, if you were doing an engine swap with a newer engine that had a cable tranny.....

i think it's the syncro's themselves in the newer trans that are designed better..
