i wasnt reading earlier. But you installed a APEXI VAFC? What are your settings. I had that problem with the RPM. I think you might set the VAFC a bit rich. Try lowering the setting. And did you get a resistor box or resistor for those low impendence injectors?
Was the idle ok before you installed the VAFC? the AFC was supposedly just installed and left zero'ed out and only used as a tach. once i figure out how to use it ill make sure its all set zero'ed out. |

also check your radiator for coolant. If it is low or empty. It also caused surging. |

well no one suggested it but I fixed it
Problem: FITV they have a threaded cap on the inside that slowly backs itself out over time. Pulled it off, tightened it back up, and voila. http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=699787 |

why pull it off? no need to remove from car to fix............I tighten mine yearly due to ES motor mount inserts.......
