Ring end gaps aligned will not result in suck low compression numbers.

ok i dont know if this would matter but im just trying to think of things that could of happened. when i took the head apart for port and polish i didnt label what spots the valves came out of. if i just put them back in where ever intake on intake and exhaust on exhaust could the not be getting a good seal because they maybe have slighty different sizes or something?

I hope you were using Helms Manual to set it for the first time. Putting used OEM valves on a ported head isn't a great idea, should've at least got new OEM valves.
For b18b1 i believe the valve lash clearances are .003 to .005 for intake and .006 to .008 for the exhaust because that's what I run in my del sol.
Make sure the timing belt is dead on.
Take all the spark plugs out and open the throttle body 100% when you are testing for compression.
Had a friend with a single cam that had random stupid low compression and his motor would overheat in boost with arp's and cometic headgasket. We adjusted the valve lash and compression went 200psi across the board

i know how to set valve lash and it is set and .004 and .007 the intake mani isnt even on so the that doesn't matter about the throttle body and the valves are just tempary until my crower head comes in but that will be a while so im just putting this one on to drive on for now but i think the problem is because the valves didn't go in the same holes they came out of so im just going to bring it to a machine shop and let me them look at it and see what the say i want it done right and i have no idea what else to do now.
