for some reason if i try to hold the rpm's at like 3000 rpm with the clutch in...every few seconds it drops to 2000 then back to 3000....almost like a rev control or somethin....any ideas

 

Will it still rev beyond that or is that as far as it goes?

 

I have to get it past 4000 rpm's pretty fast, but yeah it will go beyond that point. Above 4000 rpm it doesnt seem to do it at all.
This is on a 99 civic si with a vortech supercharger and the vafc hack by the way

 

I just read in the other post about gettin a flat spot in the tps sensor or somethin....would this cause these symptoms

 

Im guessing that would be your problem

 

What about your settings on the hack for that spot have you tried adjusting that ?

 

I have messed with the settings to try to make it go away, but it wont.
Also i went into the sensor monitors and watched the tps voltage as i tried to hold the rev at 3000....when the rev dropped the voltage stayed the same so that isnt it.
Do you think maybe i need to initialize my vafc and start over?
