I just bought an 88 civic hb with a zc already swapped in. It has a temp. gauge and when i'm on the highway it runs about 200. One day I got on it and looked at the temp gauge and it was less than 180. When I started going normal speed it went up again. I decided to test it so I want on a side steet in secound at about 35mph so it put me at about 5,000rpm's and the temp just kept dropping. Is this normal?

 

check your gauge, see if its all hooked up properly and working right. If not thatm check your sensors. I had that problem in my 3kGT and found out it was the water pump so might not be a bad idea to give that a look over too
