Re:STD HATCH question help asap

i thought it required some mods (not wiring) to fit a y8 intake on a 4th gen? Maybe i'm confused. But yeah, definitely swap to mpfi. maybe even consider doing a vtec head swap and get some bolt ons like i/h/e that will put you around ~110 whp

The y8 mani is a bolt on affair. The reason the dx has 92 and the std has 70 is the cam the std cam is super small. And yes the dx trans will bolt up but I recommend the si trans if you can get one. For the best bang for the buck get a sohc vtec head or a 88-91 si 16 valve head and the mpfi conversion
