Mine was taken apart today, my main journals on the crank are nice and scarred. 
My oil light problem/oil pressure problem/knock was because an oil supply line going to the crank that keeps oil pressure up cracked, thus causing all this carnage. I'm not exactly sure how the ---- something like that cracks but whatever.
