Spings?
OK so my ------- car seems to rub way too often. when i turn, the rear passenger wheel well goes kkkkkrrrrttt. theres easily 2 inches gap between the tire and wheel well. and my front tires both on bumpy roads will kkkkrrrttt all too often.
i have some shitty coilovers so do you think if i just got some better springs it wouldnt have soo much play in it? ?? if thats the case what do u recommend ? brands? style- coilovers or lowering springs? roads around here are shiitay |
Re: Spings?
Sorry to tell ya but you get what u pay for...to a point.
In other words dont buy cheap suspension components. I learned my lesson and luckily I'm still alive. |
Re: Spings?
i understand that now but would u say its the springs? i have great shocks/struts but cheap coilovers so what are good brands for the buck for springs?
|
Re: Spings?
H&R, eibach,
sprint is probably best for buck |
Re: Spings?
or you can get the fenders rolled.

Re: Spings?
any one have good luck with H&R lowering springs? they say 2-2.25 inch drop... anyone like these or are coilovers worth the extra 100$??? thanks im not too picky.

Re: Spings?
Cheap coilovers are the worst thing you can buy. Sprints are gangsta for the cost me likes I have them on both my drivers.
|
Re: Spings?
I have the same problem you do. accept minus the krrrrt noise. I know that eibach makes custom spring rates. so you might be able to get a nice suspension without paying big bucks and you can keep your coilover setup.

Re: Spings?
i had sprint on my civic for three years and they cost me $100- $150 and another $150 to put them on. never once had a bad ride or any problems.
