Speaking of getting head...
How mutch crap do you really have to do to put a B16 head onto a LS block? and is it really worth it. The reason I'm asking is because I would like to build the bottom end of a LS block for turbo and then swap by B16 onto it. The biggist thing that scares me is the oiling part.
The only thing you have to do to the head is plug the oil passage hole(not sure if that's what you call it) with a 1/8" npt plug, and enlarge two holes to take a pair of dowels to line up the head. ( You are moving them from the exhaust side to the intake side). I did it to my 93 integra with gsr parts. Its a noticble improvment, but I wish I got the j1 tranny. If I could do it all over again, I'd try and get a vtec block to go with the head I got for free (just sounds funny
...). If you do go with the ls block, get the gsr or b20 oil pump. Also, the gsr waterpump flows a bit more. (gsr timing belt needed for that one)

oiling part? its just like running a oil feed line to a turbo, instead just to the head.
Head work is pretty easy too. Just need to block off 1 passage, and then bore out the 2 alignment holes for the dowlpins. If you dont want to do that, I think a company actually sells custom downpins, so you dont even have to do any machine work.

This is my B18c head, getting some work done on Jhill's mill.

remember the name of the company abaz at all? ill go do a search for it. also the boring of the holes must be done by a machine like a mill or bench drill correct? Its not like you wanna just take a hand drill im assuming lol?
lol, No best to use a drill press or a mill as shown.
