I want to boost compression up a bit, i have a SOHC ZC, i heard that if i use a D16Z6 head that it will raice the CR, is this true.

 

uhm... what pistons does the sohc zc use? pm6? (d16a6)

you want a head will a smaller combustion chamber volume then the d16a6 head and that will raise compression.also, use a y8 head gasket to get a couple extra points.

 

Cyl Head combustion chamber volumes.

d16a6 = 38.00cc
d16z6 = 34.60cc
d16y8 = 32.80cc
DOHC ZC = 43.80cc
