Re:SOHC ZC VTEC 1.5 OR 1.6 ?
I have had both in my civic. had the zc like 5 years ago. I have the d15b in my crx now. I think 130 rating for the zc is low. It ran faster then my dohc zc with the same parts and in the same car.

Re:SOHC ZC VTEC 1.5 OR 1.6 ?
aren't these D15b's in the VTi "3-stage VTEC" ?
I was looking thru some JDM honda brochures, and we noticed the "3-stage VTEC" motors in the 96-99 Civic VTi... Kinda cool, imagine 3 stages! I want one! -Henry |
Re:SOHC ZC VTEC 1.5 OR 1.6 ?
Hmm with the 3 stage I think it's best to run it with the ecu it's supposed to go with since there are two solenoids on it.

Re:SOHC ZC VTEC 1.5 OR 1.6 ?
I have yet to see any 96-99 vti motors in the states. The only ones i have seen are obd-1 92-95. Also for everyone who wanted to know the vti lsd tranny is hydro. Sorry crx and 4th gen civic lovers.
