You mean like b-series 81mm pistons in a D. No way on stock sleeves and that is pushing it on aftermarket sleeves.

Won't even work on a sleeved block.

It made 3 pulls on a dyno before spliting the walls.

LS rods and piston into sleeved D16. Block had already been bored to 78mm, ended up scoring the walls. So it was toast. So for fun they bored it to 81mm and dropped in stock LS hardware, back to the dyno.

All NA, no boost.

Just some crazy canucks

Some high end all motor guys run the max of 87mm sleeves and 95mm stroke. That's 6mm over stock. 81mm is also 6mm over a stock d-series. Hey Bone, what sleeves were in that motor?
