Is this the sign of a new CLUTCH!!!

My 88rex has been accelerating a little behind lately so I was wondering should I just replace the clutch, and flywheel or should I just get it rebuilt. It's not linking, or making any funny noises, and shifting is smooth.

Couple other things to try; run some fuel injector cleaner (or new fuel injectors in general), new spark plugs, new timing belt, and radiator flush. If its shifting smooth its probably not the clutch (usually you'll have to start shifting only at high rpms, or fight it to shift at all).

i think he's saying it isnt your trans at all...and i would agree...if it shifts fine and doesnt seem to be slipping, you're losing poser elsewhere (motor)
