short answer, putting b16/ls in EF

I searched and I get these long ass how to's. I've replaced motors and I'm sure I can make the si eng. harness work with 1-wire vtec mod or something. I just need to how to get it in. If I buy the conversion kit with the axles, I just use those axles with out having to modify the hub? then just use a hasport shiftlinkage, bang the frame next to the alt. . the mounts is the only thing I don't get. do you just replace the mounts with the hasposrt ones are is there modification required??

Use the stock harness for the car, modify it as needed...

Use 90-93 Integra axles with the 90-93 Intermediateshaft, you will probably need to remove the dust sheild from the hubs but thats all

hit the frame next to the alt to make room for adjustment...make sur eyou hit at the right spots...the more room the better you don't want to dop the motor out to do it again...

Hasport is way over priced but you can get th linkage and mounts from them and there is no modification required just bolt them on...you will need to make sure you use a 90-93 Integra Drivers side blockmount and a 90-93 rear mount bracket...

ok thanks. that's what I was looking for. seems simple as hell. motor, just with different parts that you have to put on anyway.

can you just use new or used stock 90-93 integra mounts?

not the rubber mounts but the brackets...like the part of the mount that bolts to the block between the timing belt and then the hasport mount bolts to it...the rear bracket bolts to the trans and motor, sometimes called the "L" bracket and then goes around the rear hasport mount...

I have a bunch of the rear brackets if you need one pm me....

i used avid mounts and i had to cut the rear crossmember, and you have to remove the bracket for the front tranny mount that is on the front xmember.

Yea some mount kits are different...I forgot about removing the front mount bracket on the crossmember since I have JK unit now...but yea give that a few wacks with the sledge or get out the cut off wheel and go to town...with the rear bracket some of the cheap or older style mounts require you to notch it or dent it for the bracket to clean...with my AZ Race mounts I didn't have to do that...

Yonaka mounts are dirt cheap, and they're based off a real EF, so the mad JDM shift linkages work.

Mine went in with no issues, same steps as everyonce listed. 90-93 teg axles and shaft, and I cut a 90-93 shift linkage down and welded it back together, works perfectly.

Actually, depending on what car the b16 was from changing to a LS block mount isn't needed. If the b16 came from an integra x-si it'll bolt in without any issues.
