Shorblock Assembly Questions

Shorblock Assembly Questions
So i recently assembled this bottom end and before i bolt the head on i wanted to make sure that everything is right.
Here are the parts:
81mm LS Block
81mm Arias Pistons
LS Eagle Rods
Acl Bearings
Now i spec'd out all of they bearings and they were all well within the specs in the helms manual so im not worried about that.
What i want to double check is that the tangs on the rod bearings should be facing the exhaust side, the bigger valve reliefs are on the intake side, the dimple on the piston rings is the top side, and i think thats about it.
The assembly went really smooth and i took my time measuring and putting everything together so i think its all good. Im just a little nervous to actually use the motor since ive invested so much money and this is my first build.
For anyone that cares...the shorblock will be bolted to a GSR head and a B16 tranny with my current turbo which is a 57trim t04e/t3.

Re: Shorblock Assembly Questions
On the stock rods, the tangs go on the exhaust side, but that is because there is little oil holes to squirt oil up to the pistons on the intake side. The eagles don't have the oil holes, so it doesn't really matter.

Have you seen LS rods? There is a oil hole on one side. It faces the intake side.
