Well this is currently my DD. So I will try all the little crap and hope that it's something simple. If not I will have to wait till the teg is up sometime to start on this one.

Well tried and tried to get that freaking valve undone. It will not budge for anything. I guess my only other option at this point is to replace the slave.

$1 bet that the clutch disc popped a spring, not allowing the clutch to fully disengage.

If it was a B series clutch, I'd up that bet to $100.

Slave is like $30, no need to drop the tranny.

Well after trying again and some choice words I pulled the slave. Looks like who ever did the swap used a old slave. When I undone the bolts the boot was just sitting on there torn already. The clutch fluid that came out was black as oil too. Here is a picture of the slave. Think the slave might have been going bad?

Called up Advance and the Zone. They only have two in stock, and I have to be able to drive. Which one would you guys get? One looks shitty with a piston, the other looks clean and no piston.

now that you mention it it could be a spring in the pressure plate

Got it in and bled like a stuck pig. It didn't fix the problem, but it did shift better driving it around. I noticed when he was pressing the clutch in while I was bleeding it that the master cylinder would move probably 3-5mm (just a guess might be more) away from the fire wall. Got dark so didn't have a chance to tighten it up. I don't think that would really mess with much though. Damn you bone you probably cursed me now.

you curse the facts?

I just guess the exact same thing on a Mustang.

Your slave needed bleeding anyways, cheap replacement, you would have had to do it within the next year anyways.

No I just wanted someone to blame lol A Exedy stock style clutch will only be $125, but I just don't feel like dropping the tranny yet. Maybe this summer. As long as I remember to put it into 1st before coming to a complete stop I'm good. Well that and it doesn't like going from reverse to 1st.

Still going to try the other little things and keep my fingers crossed.
