Shift Linkage Help
Is there any easy way to unhook the shift linkage from the tranny? im havin a REALLY fun time trying to get that hallow pin out

Re:Shift Linkage Help
get a bolt that is the same diameter as the pin and then get a hammer on it, it should slide out after a little bit of hitting it.

Re:Shift Linkage Help
That pin can be a bitch. You need to use the right sized punch or you're never going to get it out. Smack that fucker with a hammer and a punch a few good times and it should pop right out.

Re:Shift Linkage Help
If you havent already gotten out the spring pin. Use a long bolt that mounts your ac compressor to your motor. They are the right size, give it a couple of wack and the spring pin should come out from the shift linkage. Had to do it to my friend's hatch 2 days ago. Try it out.
