get a bolt that is the same diameter as the pin and then get a hammer on it, it should slide out after a little bit of hitting it.

That pin can be a bitch. You need to use the right sized punch or you're never going to get it out. Smack that ****** with a hammer and a punch a few good times and it should pop right out.

---- three Guys working on your car and none of you can get that little pin out. I would have done it for the d16z6 Distributor :P.

If you havent already gotten out the spring pin. Use a long bolt that mounts your ac compressor to your motor. They are the right size, give it a couple of wack and the spring pin should come out from the shift linkage. Had to do it to my friend's hatch 2 days ago. Try it out.

what? if i recall correctly, that pin is pretty small?? anyways, it's nice to have the right tools for the job, so yeah, just go out and buy the right sized punch. also, you can get the pin from an auto parts store, they have a box of them with a variety of sizes for like 2.00 bucks they are made by those people "help" that make all that universal crap like radiator caps and window handles and all that other misc. crap.
