Any of the high temp paint will be better heat transfer wise vs just bare metal. Just find the highest temp unit you can find

I think VHT makes a header paint thats arount 1500* Ive used it in the past on BB Ford manifolds. Prep work is key, and I also Baked it in the oven like it calls for on the can.

Bro, I've got a sheet of that Spoon heat shielding tape if you want it? I only cut a little section out for my throttle cable on my bike. You could put that on your shield also. If you want it just let me know. All else fails, send out your dp and get it thermo coated from like Swaintech. You can always do the jdm trick and put some washers on your hood brackets to raise your hood to release some heat out of your engine bay. I could send you a care package as I've got some actual water wetter and that Spoon heat tape if you want it?
