Switch to oem fan with a shroud.
Buddy had the same problem. He cut a hole in the bumper for direct air flow to the rad.

The IC is directly in front of the Rad so this has got to be an issue. Also there has to be atleast 12" of space between the IC and rad.

SHould i run 2 fans? one in front and one in the back? otherwise, i could move the rad closer to the IC and further away from the DP. I guess ill post a pic so you have an idea of how close it is.

I would make a shield but i have no welder. Maybe with the pic i post you can MS paint me an idea of how to do so.

I had an minor issue with cooling ion the 90 degree ---- we had going on up here a while ago (Not that hot I know, but not common here)...

I flushed my system clean, and ran Redlines water wetter and distilled water... NOt 1 instance of an issue since... temp drop of about 15 degrees... ---- works.

Ross uses it and it helped him al;ot so I tried it and thankfully it worked.

DO IT

you mean that red line watter wetter ---- right? and i need distilled water? not regular tap water?

hmmm.... gonna hit up auto zone for that and a new lower rad hose. i guess a shroud makes sense too. i could make one for it u think.. just use rivets and use some sheet metal.

the rad isnt a year old and i cant see it being the culprit. took the T stat out and let it idle. needle barley moved! nice! hopefully this helps it on highway speeds where the EGT temps tend to get higher. i might get another fan and place it in front as a pusher adn the rear as a pull through. then again i might not have to.

here are pics of tonights fun...
