Default Rust?

I will be building up my motor for BOOST, so i am gonna plan on buying all the rebuild and upgraded parts for it before i put all of them in . i plan to put all of them in around the same time. My ? is , will anything rust out while i have the engine opened? Cuase im gonna have to have some stuff sent out to the machine shop, and i dont want some ---- to rust while im wainting for ---- to get back and so on,. If it is a possiblity of something rusting, What whoudl work to prevent it, Sealing it up in plastic? Spraying some WD40 on it now and then or oil?

you could spray it with WD-40 to be on the safe side, remember wd-40 was developed as a corrosion inhibitor for the aerospace industry, not as a penetrating lubricant. Just keep it indoors and dry

if you spray it w/ wd40 you'll need to get it all washed again though. unless you want wd40 in your oil and coolant...
