Resurfacing the head?
What do you guys think about resurfacing the head? I had my bottom end sleved and rebuilt. Should i get the head resurfaced befor i put it back together? I didnt have any problems with the head or the head gasket befor.

I would get the head surfaced anyways, just to be safe. You have a nice clean surface on the block, why not make the head the same way? It would eliminate any possible problems with a blown head gasket, ar at least greatly reduce them. |

Re:Resurfacing the head?
still, the fact that the h22 is closed deck means nothing in this thread. As jigga mentioned, any block can be decked (meaning taking a little off the top)

Re:Resurfacing the head?
if you spend all those $$$ to build a block, why halfass it because of 20 bucks.
