Re:Replacing Grounds
I don't know about everyone else, but I find it hard to imagine spending $50-80 on "special" wires that don't conduct electricity any better than regular old copper wire. I re-did my grounds with 4 gauge wire on my '90 CRX for probably a grand total of $10 at Home Depot. But I'm getting off track...
What year/make/model of car? The 2nd gen CRX has three grounds that I'm aware of:
1.) Valve cover to chassis
2.) Negative battery terminal to transmission
3.) Engine fusebox to thermostat housing
As far as the other two, you've got me...need to know more about your car. -Z

Re:Replacing Grounds
I dont know if ths would work but im gonna give it a shot... I have some of that hose dress up kit thing... you know the braided hose well its pretty thick and i have some left over.. im going to braze it to a connector and use that for ground straps... it should be better than the stock ones i have right now

Re:Replacing Grounds
i changed mine, there wasnt a noticable diff. i used like 4gauge wire gold connectors (bling bling). only did two though, engine to headlight and tranny to frame rail. my battery is in the back and that has a negative from the battery to one of the mounting posts for the battery box...

Re:Replacing Grounds
ZAC, talk to me I wonna do it the homedepot way, is there anyway that you could send me a picture so that I could see what material you used, and I'm doing this cause it needs it nothing more than that I'm not one of those guys that need to have everything under the hood a color, I'm just a day-to-day driver who just loves to drive my 88 Honda CRX SI, completely stock engine, and all... thanks in advance..
