Default replaced head gasket... still smokin

ok so my car's exhaust was a white smoke, which is coolant so I replaced my head gasket, and while the head was off I checked for a crack in the sleeve. I did this by running my finger around the inside cylinder wall. I did not feel any cracks so i put the new headgasket on and put everytnig back together. I statred up my car and still white smoke.

Could the crack in the sleeve be so small i could not feel it or is there something other than a cracked sleeve or blown head gasket that would cause white smoke.

Also one thing i did not check was a warped block or head, but my engine has never over heated and ran good for the past year.

i let the car run for a while but it was still smoking pretty good, I also noticed that the idle was rough like a misfire and the exhaust runner from the number 3 cylinder was not getting nearly as hot as the others (i could touch it and not burn myself)

I am thinking its a coolant leak in my IM because i did a compression test and all the cylinders were above 215, also the number 3 runner in my IM was clean while all the others had some carbon build up. I dont think its the IM gasket because the only coolant running through the gasket goes by the number 4 runner.

Does this sound like the cause to any one else?

If you are loosing coolant or have a lot of pressure in your coolant hoses..then it's a blown gasket or warped head...you're head is prbably warped and letting coolant pass in the #3 cilinder..
I had the same simptoms...compression was good all around also.
