Removing Engine only, leaving trans in bay? (6th Gen SOHC Civic)
So Ive been ------- lazy as ---- w/ my car lately... waiting for all my new build parts to come in and most of my time has gone to working on the ED6 beater. I finally started to pull my motor (98 SOHC Civic) and ----, Im stuck. I feel like a ------ newb asking but how the hell do I pull just the engine and leave the trans in the bay. Ive always pulled everything and thought Ild save time this go around and just pull the motor but I cant get the 2 bolts on the back/bottom of the block, on either sides of the dow pin. Will pulling the driver side axle help... well gonna do it any way but let me know if any one can help me out, Feel free to chime in TJ. Thanx

yeah its far easier to pull it all. Otherwise itll take awhile longer, and even more when you go to mount in a new engine with the tranny already there lol.
Make life easier and swap everything out of the car.
