As the title says, I am having a hard time removing these since they just came in the mail and are bolted down with the ARP 3/8 bolt and are really tight.

Also what do I torque these down to?

 

i think..there is nothing better that to read the workshop manual of ur engine.

 

I have the whole manual memorized and no where does it say how to remove torqued down rod bolts on a rod that is NOT on a crank (brand new)

Also these are ARP rod bolts in TT rods so the torque spec is different.

A torch or plasma cutter would take the least work to remove them.

 

Go drink bleach

 

When i got my TT rods the ARP's were ------- amazingly tight for a Chinese kid installing them.
