Recommended tools for engine building
What tools would your guys say, would be the minimum to have in your tool box when building a Honda engine, either B-series or D-series?

torque wrench, engine manual, metric socket set, piston ring compressor... i would think thats the min...

micrometer
calipers plastigauge - if that is even a tool some rasps feeler gauge |

Hydraulic lifts... wait that doesnt fit in the damn tool box! Gotta go get a bigger one!

0 to 75 torque wrench, 2-3 mic, 3-4 mic, Bore gauge. ring filer, ring compressor, plastic mallet

or a combination of all 3... torque wrench, a set of metric sockets both short and longer ones, a set of metric wrenches, pliers, assorted screwdrivers, a hammer, valve spring compressor, 1/2" breaker bar, 1/2" to 3/8"s adapter, sharpie, sanding block, wd-40, micrometer, feeler gauges, a cup of motor oil for fitting rings engine stand, jacks and a lift if possible... |

i use a snap on. |
Good torck wrench, ring compresor, feeler gage, valve compresor and let machine shop do all the masuring and picking your bearings. Because you have to have top quality boring gage and micrometers, unles you have alot of money and somebody to show you.
