Cause I was told that some people had problems with the EEPROM, I was going to look for the EEPROM when doing my ECU, cause I don't want to buy a UV light to erase the UV EPROM.
I use the Amtel 29C256 Flash ROM's...and I have had no problems. They're more expensive ($5) but can be re-programmed quickly, don't require that you erase them before you re-program them, and you'll bend the pins before you've exhausted their programming cycles. -Z
