Re: +Rebuild, But Now No ComPreSSioN==
hmm.. well i might find out soon.. im still wieghing out the choices's pros and cons.. 5sfe or 3sgte
1.) 3sgte swap
- more expensive
- longer to install (and its my daily driver to high school and work, so time is a major factor)
+ more power.
2.)
-less power
+ faster install
+less money
i guess time is the main factor. If this was summer, hell i'd have already bought a 3sgte. Anyways.. what do u guys think?

ehh... yeah.. i guess ur right.. like they come with 200hp.. but i bet with my current setup it would be around that because the burien kit has dyno charts of gaining 9HP per 1 psi on their non intercooled kit with shitty EM. So probably 10hp per PSI if u add the intercooler (i know its also about CFM, but just using as a reference). and so if 5sfe comes with 135 hp then 8psi its 215. Hmm i was telling my buddy today i was pretty set on the 3sgte swap. but now im reconsidering.. If i built it through and threw in some JE pistons ($650) and like eagle rods ($400) i be i could boost like 12-15 atleast dont u think? that'd be awesome... anyways let me know what u think? Later.
