Is the prop valve the one you're using from the integra you got the brakes from? What kind of pv do they have?

90/91 CRX SI = 40/20 prop valve ;)

Haha there you go!

I have some ITR front calipers, waiting to find some rear disc setup... I'm guessing if I use ITR/Legend rears that I would use the 40/40 valve?

the prop valve I am using is a 40/40, it did not came with brakes since I pieced it together, but thats whats recommended for the conversion, I think my 95 ex valve is a 20/30, or 20/40 I am not sure but I know I still have it. I also need a bigger master cylinder.

Ive heard of a few people on cb7tuner.com doing a rear disc conversion and just sticking with the stock prop valve and they said it worked fine. just throw the stock one on and see what happens.

I would try the new master first, my eg came stock with a 4040 so I cant see that being the problem. I'm rocking stock backs, bigger master(cant remember what size) and teggy fronts still works fine :P

take that bitch for a ripper and heat up the brakes real good, jack the car up and see if you can spin each wheel very easily, might have a master holding slight pressure on or??

it seems like thats the problem, I have rusty brake dust all over my rear rims everytime I drive. so it seems like they are binding when it heats up.

Check your ebrake cables to see if they are free. If they are stuck, they can hold pressure on the calipers and cause the pads to wear b/c they are slightly on seeing as how the ebrake and calipers are one unit. If thats the case, you can toast the calipers too by heating them up too much from the friction of being stuck, and then you need calipers too.

Not to thread-jack, but Im also in the process of swapping rear disc, I never knew about the crx si 40/20 prop valve, I guess that would be the reccomended piece considering Ill be using CRX rears on a 91 Civic right? BTW, did anyone else w/ rear disc notice that it looks like its just the spindles that are different not the whole trailing arm? Almost like I could just unbolt spindle for spindle since the caliper bracket is on it too. Anyone tried this or noticed it?
