Real interest in traction bars to be made?

Re:Real interest in traction bars to be made?
Okay, Another update, after I posted I went out to the shop and looked through my steel stock and this is what I came up with.
Hopefully I can find something like this at a supplier becauce when using only a chop saw and a drill(drill press is broken currently) It takes a while to make an end. But I think they would work better then holes through a 1" bar.

Ya man.
I just came in from make 4 of the bolt rods for another bar. I have enough materials on hand to make 1 more.
I was going to use the stock radius arms but decided against it because I think 2 helm joint on one bar would give better articulation for streetablity. And make adjustment a little easier. Plus I don't really have access to a lathe so I wouldn't be able to turn down the length and threads.
And I would like one like your new design but I can't mill those end plates myself. I could go to school and do it, or a friend of our family own a machine shop, but this is easier.
BTW. I get my helm joint from Mcmaster-carr. Next Day shipping is nice!

I am making a new design for more ground clearance. May work on it soon. I already cut some metal up to use. I am making a Jig so I can just fab them up on the bench.
I am also going toward the teflon lined.

I got mine from Grainger but I think it was Whitey that came up with http://www.speedwaymotors.com/prod_l...eptSearch_id=2
