The REAL deal on ZC head studs!
All right, I am sick to death of all the bullshit.
So here it is, I went and mesured my bolts, head, block, threads.
11mm
1.5 pitch
1.35 inch long thread
6.5 Inch long
0.08 Washer thickness
0.8 washer Diamiter
Head depth 2.775
Bolt depth 3.59375
Keep in mind my block is milled 0.020, so this should = out to the length of the bolts minus the bolt head.
Now the VW kit doesent work because the bolts arent long enough However, B16A studs are 11mm 1.5 pitch threads 1.25 long thead length and are 7 inches long as well as being all the same length! So there you have it.
Oh yea, you will need to shorten one of the bolts a little... Just use a die grinder and cut about 1/4 inch off the top of the bolt so it doesent rub of your cam shaft... This is the bolt that sits next to the oil jet and is raised about 1" higher out of the block that the rest.
