I mean just because I did it doesnt mean it may work out for you.. 
have you measureed ring end gap? since your using a new block you will need to do all your measurements over with, and if the rings are from a different block, its going to need a quick hone of some sort to ensure the rings do get sealed.

this block has zero miles...never started, so the rings should seal fine without honing i would think, since the original cross-hatch is there...i cant find the stupid end-gap chart, what should i do the top and 2nd rings to

Um, same as the top rings, I dont know what the specs are either. So the block is new, and has the original hone job from the factory eh? good stuff, if its never been started before you should be fine.
